An investigation into the restless nature of images starting with found photographs, archival family photos and videos, which I manipulated and resignified so that they could speak with a new voice.
Old photographs forgotten in drawers, in albums that no one looks at any more, are still capable of initiating narratives in which past and present are layered in a new temporal dimension, moving between reality and imagination.
Just like light, which, by resting on things, determines their appearance from time to time, in the same way images, depending on the gaze that inhabits them, are signified in ever different ways.
